This rose, so simple.
Lost without it's vase.
Thirsty for water,lies patiently
in stillness, for caring assistance.
So many times, I too,waited
by the window ,yet seeing
the dogs,soothes the memory of waiting, and the sadness of being abandoned.
so small the hand, it
reaches out.
grasp yours in mine, let me feel secure
This is a silent reminder, to all who have
ears to listen, and a heart that feels.
Reach out to your children, for they
need your time.
Express your love, share joy, and
be present in times of sorrow.
